Decision Resources Pharmaview Competitive Assessment

News from ASCO: The Ongoing Push to Move Away From a ‘One Drug Treats All’ Approach in Cancer Treatment

— A Pharmaview Competitive Assessment from Decision Resources

You are invited to attend the Decision Resources Pharmaview competitive assessment entitled News from ASCO: The Ongoing Push to Move Away From a ‘One Drug Treats All’ Approach in Cancer Treatment.

Clinical trial data presented earlier this month at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting continues to support physicians’ and researchers’ ongoing push for a move away from a ‘one drug treats all’ therapeutic approach towards individualized treatments for specific subsets of cancer patients. This session will investigate the competitive implications of the changing sentiment and will provide a broad overview of the hot topics, themes and clinical trial results presented at the 2010 ASCO meeting.

This presentation will also provide a schedule of exclusive upcoming Pharmacor analyst calls that will highlight news from the ASCO conference regarding several oncology indications including ovarian cancer, multiple myeloma and gastric cancer.

This 20-minute session, presented by Analyst Kiran Meekings, Ph.D., will answer the following questions:

  • Does c-Met therapy hold blockbuster potential for the treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer? Which companies are likely to succeed in the developmental race for c-Met inhibitors?
  • How do we see the ovarian cancer competitive environment changing in light of data released at ASCO?
  • How will data presented at ASCO position Amgen’s Prolia compared to Novartis’ Zometa? And what is the latest sentiment regarding the therapeutic potential of bone-resorption inhibitors?
  • Are we envisaging further upside for Celgene’s Revlimid and Roche’s Rituxan following the positive maintenance data presented at ASCO?

Dr. Meekings will conduct a live Q & A session after the presentation.
