About the Speakers

Janie CoxJanie Cox, Ph.D., is a P&R and HEOR Solutions Manager at Decision Resources Group, having recently transitioned from her previous role as Senior Director of the company’s European Physician & Payer Forum portfolio, the industry’s only primary market research solution that includes insights from both physicians and payers in Europe to get a true sense of how both parties determine access to the relevant pharmaceutical markets. Before focusing on market access, Dr. Cox specialized in analysis of the non-small-cell lung cancer markets in Decision Resources’ oncology department, and, prior to joining the company, was a managing editor at Thomson Reuters, where her primary responsibility was providing information disclosed at major pharmaceutical conferences as content for Thomson Pharma, now Cortellis. Dr. Cox holds a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol and a B.Sc. in immunology and microbiology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. She has also worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Institute for Animal Health.

Andreia RibeiroAndreia Ribeiro, Ph.D., manages the European and Emerging Markets Physician & Payer Forum portfolios for Decision Resources Group. Dr. Ribeiro has pioneered extensive primary and secondary research in the Brazil, Mexico and Argentina payer systems exploring how the different reimbursement contexts impact prescribing. She has a Ph.D. in chemical and biochemical engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Her doctorate focused on translational biomaterials research toward the development of new therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Ribeiro obtained a B.S./M.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Porto in Portugal, and she holds two professional certifications in biochemical regulatory engineering and biotechnology management. A native of Portugal, Dr. Ribeiro is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Roy MooreRoy Moore, MBA, is a Principal Director for Decision Resources Group. Mr. Moore is responsible for the rapidly expanding U.S. Physician & Payer Forum portfolio—as well as the Market Access Tracker portfolio—and has pioneered primary research that reveals the brand-level impact of powerful and evolving managed care trends, including ACOs, HIX, clinical pathways and e-prescribing. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Analyst for five years, where he focused on Florida’s commercial, Medicare and Medicaid insurance markets as well as Medicare nationally. Mr. Moore graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a double major in journalism and international relations. He later received his MBA from Vanderbilt University.
